This article is too much of a hagiography. It needs to focus less on the details of Fischer's career and more on his impact. And the whole "Antics" section is completely unsourced as well as unencyclopedic. Additionally, there are just too many repeated links, so I tagged it for cleanup. Note that when you make links, you don't need to copy it from the address bar. For example, you don't need to do [[Washington%2C_D.C.|Washington, D.C.]], you can just do [[Washington, D.C.]] and the software will get the link right. howcheng {chat} 17:32, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately the Academic Diving Program at Florida State University has largely been dismantled by the director of the FSU marine lab and underwater archeology is also pretty much gone from Florida State. (Dan Marelli)
