This article has incorrect information. The majority of shares are owned by the employees overall and NOT by the family members or board.

I added a {{fact}} thing to the article. Maybe someone will fix it. Burrito wrapper (talk) 03:37, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The family members and board have voting control of a majority of the shares. This is irrelevant however since this article is supposed to be about George Jenkins the man, and not about the company he started. At least half this article is about Publix and not about George Jenkins. --Gallodemuerte (talk) 04:10, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
