nationality[edit]

Lede[edit]

I've removed "award winning" from the lede because it's fairly empty promotional sounding language that doesn't say anything. All people win awards - I've won violin awards, and I'm hardly Gil Shaham. Anyway, it's painfully short now. Can we think of something to say that captures in a sentence or two just what it is about him that's remarkable, noteworthy, relevant? For example, is he known for a particular style, or achievement, or specialization in a particular repertoire? Our audience here is curious laypeople. If someone wanted to know in a sentence or two just who GS is and why they should care, what should we tell them? - Wikidemon (talk) 00:13, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
