Talk:Gunstar Super Heroes
Trivia Section
[edit]I removed it because I couldn't find a place to put them in the article. I'll put them here for now. The last one may be useful. It's my first huge edit, so please don't yell. If you think it should be put back, please do so.
- Curiously, the more overtly female voice clips used for Gunstar Red in the western versions of the game seem to be recycled from Airan Jo's voice clips in Treasure's Sin and Punishment.
- Numerous references to previous Treasure games are made in the game's script.
In the fifth level of Red's normal difficulty, Black says, "Ha ha ha. Remember the alien soldiers you fought here? They were brought here with the power of the Megalith."
In the seventh level of Red's easy difficulty, Gray says, "Now that we have all 4 gems, it is time. Time to reawaken the God of Ruin, our light crusader!"
In the seventh level of Blue's hard difficulty, Yellow says, "With the Megalith, we will complete our father's task! We will be the guardian heroes for humanity."
In the seventh level of Red's hard difficulty, Golden Silver says, "I am Golden Silver, a mere silhouette mirage of you. Your despair, your fear, I will use to destroy."
In the second level of Blue's hard difficulty, Dr. Shadow Light's journal says, "The orbit between the moons seems unnatural. There should be a 5th object, a lost planet?"
- Furthermore, several of the new gameplay situations are homages to old Sega games. The scenes in the second and sixth levels where Red and Blue are stationary while the background rotates and enemies can be seen flying in from a distance are taken from After Burner. The section of the second level where Red and Blue must rescue a number of birds who trail behind them is based on Flicky. Finally, the overhead shooting section in the third level is derived from Thunder Blade.

? I thought they were the same characters.
[edit]With the exception of Red and Blue, I thought they were all supposed to be the same characters. Is there any official confirmation that no one is the same character? Is is this merely guesswork? 208.101.136.228 16:49, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
It's best not to think about it. It says it takes place years afterwards but in the same sense, they are the same exact characters. Hell they should stop fooling themselves and call it a remake cause there's nothing here that warrants it as a "sequel".--Neofcon 21:04, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
