[edit]Suggest add pronunciation of his last name. Have heard it called Cal-ley-bot and Ki'but. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.181.240.24 (talk) 02:24, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
Caillebotte the yacht designer, successful racing yacht captain, and horticulturalist
[edit]Having just seen the exhibit "Impressionists on the Water" at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco - which included many of Caillebotte's yacht designs and models - I feel that this article on Caillebotte gives short shrift to his talents as an engineer and sportsman. Perhaps the historian/s who wrote the text for this exhibit (a tie-in to the recently concluded America's Cup races in San Francisco) would be willing to expand this article.Penelope Gordon (talk) 01:04, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
Inaccurate information in section: Caillebotte's collection
[edit]The statement "Most of the remaining works were purchased by Albert C. Barnes and now are held by the Barnes Foundation.[31]" is not correct. Could this please be deleted from the article? This information was brought to my attention through a collections inquiry at the Barnes Foundation, where I work. I would be happy to verify this information in a more official manner if needed.
