What's the status of this species as previously given here, and still given in a species article, in the new taxonomy? If this isn't in the genus, there'll presumably need to be a separate page like purple sage, for "saxaul". —innotata 23:29, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

According to Tropicos database, Haloxylon aphyllum is just a synonym for Haloxylon ammodendron. Tropicos. --Thiotrix (talk) 11:51, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the info. Would you mind merging the articles and discussing H. aphyllum here and at H. ammodendron's page? (It seems to be pretty widely discussed as a separate species and with the common name black saxaul.) I could, and will do so otherwise, but I don't know much about plants (I created this article while working on Saxaul Sparrow). —innotata 16:19, 24 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I added the synonym H. aphyllum to this genus page and revised the Haloxylon ammodendron page completely. The black saxaul page will be redirected. --Thiotrix (talk) 12:59, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Сексеуiл

[edit]

According to the Kazakh Wikipedia it is spelled "Сексеуiл" which ought to read "Sekseuil" (at least if the Cyrillic transcribes the same in Kazakh as in Russian). The article says "Seksevil". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Episcophagus (talkcontribs) 22:17, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
