Other occurences of the name Hassan Gul include this CPJ list which lists a Hassan Gul as being imprisoned by Turkey in 1995 under anti-Terrorism laws for writing pro-Kurdish articles and this Guardian article which quotes an Afghan Army fighter named Hassan Gul who says he is happy to fight for whichever side is in power. The real Hassan Ghul?

If Ghul is dead, then why is the 'mistaken identity' Ghul still in Gitmo? Can anyone explain the apparent confusion? Little grape (talk) 23:11, 1 February 2021 (UTC) [1][reply]
