This information is inaccurate. I live there is at least 600 people at both the middle school and the high school.

The peak was around 1890 with census figure of 448. The official 2000 census is 240. That is inside the corporate boundary. Both the middle and elementary schools are across the street from the official town boundary and draw from a wider geographic area. The 1990 census was 227 so we have grown, but the county around us is exploding. The 25427 zip code covers the western half of Berkeley County. 12.38.17.226 00:22, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
