Joint work with Elenore Plaisted Abbott?

[edit]

Several children's books were published with credited illustrations or "pictures by Elenore Plaisted Abbott and Helen Alden Knipe". For instance WorldCat OCLC 10674565 thus reports The Magical Man of Mirth (George W. Jacobs, 1910) by Eldridge H. Sabin [as "Elbridge" and "George N." by mistake, according to ISFDB]. Did Abbott and Knipe work jointly? Or merely contribute illustrations to the same books?

Our list of works by written by Helen's husband Edward Childs Carpenter also includes some illustrated by Elenore Abbott. Best we should somewhere say something about the collaborations of Abbott both with Helen and with Edward. --P64 (talk) 00:18, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
