He held two Youth World Bests, equivalent to World Records. That clearly qualifies him for an article under WP:NSPORT. Beyond that, he had a career and was such a spectacular athlete in his time that many people want to know what became of him. Frankly, after writing the majority of the article from the information I can find, I want to know more. I have solicited more.
