Naming controversies
[edit]This section is interesting, was reported in the national press, and is fully referenced. Please do not remove this section from the article, and discuss any changes on this page before making them. JRawle (Talk) 10:43, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
- The thisisleicestershire website doesn't appear to keep archived copies of all Leicester Mercury articles. Therefore I've accessed and re-read all the relevant articles via the NewsUK service, and cited the full titles of the articles as references on this article. If anyone wants to read the articles, you can access them via your local library's website. Leicester City Libraries subscribe to the service, as will public libraries across the UK. Highcross Leicester article
[edit]Someone wrote a comment (inappropriately on the article itself) calling for a separate article about Hightcross Leicester. Once the centre is officially opened under its new name, this article should be renamed Highcross Leicester (with a redirect from The Shires). The two centres are one and the same thing. There should not be a separate article for each. One article can discuss the history of the centre with both of its names. JRawle (Talk) 10:43, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Transport Links
[edit]I don't feel that the "Transport Links" section has any encyclopedic value. Wikipedia is not a travel guide. Any arguments for keeping it before I delete it?--Michig (talk) 15:27, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
- How about just listing the buses that serve it, not the stops? MSalmon (talk) 15:35, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
- I don't see any value in that either.--Michig (talk) 15:36, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, then get rid of it because I didn't put it in MSalmon (talk) 15:37, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
- Ok could a link go in for St Margarets Bus Station that is near by ? Sowhyman (talk) 15:38, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
- This information doesn't belong anywhere in Wikipedia.--Michig (talk) 15:40, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

- Note: This whole section is a fork from Leicester City Centre bus stops, which will shortly get deleted at AfD.--Michig (talk) 15:39, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
