The hebrew article has the picture Image:Kapernaum Ecclesia ex.jpg with the caption (translated) "Catholic Church over the house of St. Peter in Kapernaum, Israel. near Highway 7", should that picture also be added here? Jon513 (talk) 16:43, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This highway extends into occupied lands[edit]

This highway extends into occupied lands, therefore the name "Highway 87 (Israel)" is pov and not neutral or following the world view.

I suggest we change the name to "Highway 87 (Israel and the occupied territories)" --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 11:32, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Highway 87 belongs to and is maintained by Israel. The "Israel" clarifier in the title is not stating where it is, but what country it belongs to - as there are a number highways belonging to other countries that use the same name. Any reader who clicks on the link can read further about what areas the road passes through. At the moment, changing the title on this article (and the other highway articles you tagged) to your suggested name appears to be overly tenacious editing and not much to do with creating a neutral POV name. -- nsaum75 !Dígame¡ 18:16, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know what "overly tenacious" means, except as a justification for POV, especially given that current Israeli government figures have expressed support for annexing the occupied territories including the Golan Heights.[1] I recommend the name "Highway 87 (Israel-Syria)" Imagine&Engage (talk) 11:40, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
