[edit]This article was entirely taken from the company's website before I got to it. It didn't even have a different formatting. I've tried to clean it up by deleting alot of things and formatting, but there's still alot of junk in there and it sounds like an advertisement for the company. If you can help, please do!64.94.47.13 17:13, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
Just reading about the million Dollar fines that many countries, including China, have levied on LCD screen manufacturers, I am wondering if one could be in for a bit of a bonus for our Hisense TV bought in 2009 and the Sanyo bought in 2010. Maybe the next generation of lawmakers should incorporate that in their laws - all registered owners should get a 20 % refund in addition to the fines levied by the government which pay for the cost of investigating. This would also have the added benefit that practically all customers would get to know about dodgy practices and the companies who engaged in that lose some face.
We recently read about price fixing and price manipulations in the electricity/gas industries in Britain, Germany, Australia, and who knows where else. Here too, all customers affected should get a bonus, 20% of their last annual payments, in addition to fines This would then hopefully lead to no dividends for a year or two and encourage shareholders to look a bit more closely at what management does. 144.136.192.38 (talk) 02:19, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
12/01/2018: There is a mistake in this article: "It also makes televisions under its own name as of 2013" This can't be correct: when we moved to Australia in 2010 we inherited a Hisense TV, which back then was already a few years old. I'm not sure when they did start making TVs though. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.4.237.211 (talk) 00:44, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
