Merger into Andorra?[edit]

Reading the information in this article and the information in the History section of Andorra, there isn't really a wealth of extra information here. I think Andorra would benefit from the extra information. Any thoughts?--gottago 16:02, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As I posted on the project page, I don't think a merger of any national history article into a national article is appropriate. This article should certainly be expanded, but it is suited as a fork. matt91486 18:11, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why Andorra?[edit]

Is there any particular reason why Andorra, out of all the former Marca Hispanica, survived to modern times? Or is it simply chance? Why did other statelets merge into Spain or France but Andorra survived? XinaNicole (talk) 06:44, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Roman Era[edit]

Surely this region was once under Roman control? Shouldn't this be mentioned? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.10.91.104 (talk) 09:39, 26 March 2011 (UTC)

Roman Era 2[edit]

This is ridiculous,Andosini people existed even before Romans.

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page[edit]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Merge into Andorra[edit]

This needs to be merged into Andorra. What's the point of two articles? Dbreagornks (talk) 09:42, 24 May 2016 (UTC)Dbreagornks[reply]

Because the land itself is different from the nation. The Andorra page talks about Andorra as a modern land and society, not the history of the area or how it came to be. That's the same for most countries. History of China, History of India, History of the United States, etc. That's the point of two articles. Yakko Walter (talk) 21:43, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

WWI[edit]

Needs more clarification for what happened during WWI Dbreagornks (talk) 09:43, 24 May 2016 (UTC)Dbreagornks[reply]

Oh come on![edit]

The first section covers a thousand years of history while the next does just a hundred years!

This article is supposed to be about the history of Andorra. It should not have the tone of a copypaste from a second-rate guide book.86.129.0.14 (talk) 17:00, 22 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

First World War[edit]

I have removed the claims about the First World War. See Talk:World War I#Andorra's supposed participation for further information. DuncanHill (talk) 13:29, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
