Merge[edit]

I propose that because Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth is not particularly large, and neither is this article, we should merge the two to make a larger, more easily featurable article. - A Link to the Past (talk) 21:27, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is there even that much to carry over? All we have to mention is the DS-specific stuff like the stylus control, new difficulty settings, item trading, etc, and the reception. Is that right?Mr T (Based) (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 14:17, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If it only it was that simple. From what I read, this game made some plot and storyline changes. The article doesn't really state what these changes are, and it's hard to find verifiable sources that make the exact changes clear. If we do a merge and we don't have all of the facts, then the section in the Hoshigami article about this game could be misleading people into thinking it's more of a "port" than a "remake". The last thing we want to do as editors is mislead people. I think we should get all of the facts as to what is different in this game from the original, and then try a merge. Found an interview http://www.rpgamer.com/games/other/nds/hoshiremix/hoshiremixinterview.html which mentions all the gameplay changes, but nothing on the plot. http://www.siliconera.com/2007/03/28/aksys-games-talk-about-hoshigami-remix/ reckons that the localisation is new, and mentions the new character and associated missions.Mr T (Based) (talk)
