People call it "TCF"—that would negatively affect TCF Bank's trademark. Using TCF Bank's own page (designed and cleared with a legal team) is an exceptional biased source with a clear conflict of interest. It is also the only source for this mysterious "The Bank" nickname. The source be removed for COI and a different source should be used—otherwise remove the fake nickname. --198.228.228.152 (talk) 19:35, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

As a longtime dinkytown resident and current U of M student in my 4th year at the school I have never once heard it referred to as "The Bank." Second-hand evidence to be sure, but if this is a nickname I'm not sure exactly who uses it if it isn't the students or local residents. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.6.71.25 (talk) 17:03, 20 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I live in Eagan and have heard it referred to as "The Bank" by friends and on the radio. Can't seem to find it written anywhere. It certainly shouldn't be that prominent in the article even then. --Tommie91TalkContribs 18:24, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction

[edit]

The statement, "For five years, the venue was the newest BCS stadium in the country (Yulman Stadium, on the campus of Tulane University opened in 2014)" is misleading. Tulane University is not in an a BCS/AQ/power five conference so the relevance to TCF Bank Stadium is not clear.

Largest locker room

[edit]

Can anyone find other sources that back the claim of the home locker room being the largest in college and professional football? The only mention is from a primary source and even there it's only in passing ("It boasts the largest home locker room in college or professional football..."). The more detailed description of the stadium doesn't say anything about the locker room, but does have dimensions of the scoreboard. I found a page dealing with the locker room renovation in 2013, but no mention of overall size or comparisons. Outstanding claims like this need secondary sources to verify. --JonRidinger (talk) 21:55, 9 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I added a ref to CBS Local: "The home locker room at 60 yards long by 25 yards wide. It contains 120 cherry wood lockers and is the largest in both professional and college football." Mojoworker (talk) 05:56, 10 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
