Inaccuracy in current wording[edit]

Pussy did not somewhat recently "become" slang for vulva, but in fact had that meaning all along (see Barrison sisters etc.). The change was that in the Victorian period and early 20th century, it was considered possible to rigidly compartmentalize such things away from the innocent world of childhood...
