Iberian Nautical Sciences from 1400-1600Iberian nautical sciences, 1400–1600 – The present form invites the question "from between 1400 and 1600 to what?"; the capitalization is nonstandard; and the hyphen needs changing to en-dash. I am similarly proposing:

Complete revision

[edit]

Althogh it is nice to have an article about the importance of Iberian nautical science, this is full of mistakes and has to be revised fundamentally. It is telling that there is no mention of any of the fundamental works on this topic by Iberian authors (Da Silva, Albuquerque, Cortesao, Bensaude, Barbosa, Da Costa, Canas, Malhao Pereira, Gaspar, Cuesta Domingo, Esteban Piñeiro, Garcia Franco, Laguarda Trias, Lamb, Sandman and many others) As I do not have the time for that I am starting with deleting the paragraph about the Kamal as it has no place at all in Iberian nautical science, the so-called Sagres school and the cross staff. I will bring in more corrections and a set of references later.Wolfgang Köberer (talk) 09:34, 29 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
