I've never heard of this term before, but if it really exists, should we collect these queens in the article? Right now the ones I can list are Merneith, Ahmose-Nefertari, Twosret and of course Hatshepsut. – Alensha talk 17:55, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article is uneccessary. It seems to describe simply a widow of a king ruling as regent during the minority of an underage king, which is a common phenomena. No need to make this seem as something particular or different in Egyptian context.--Aciram (talk) 17:43, 25 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
