  • ... that the name of the literary journal Irreantum was inspired by a term used in the Book of Mormon to describe "many waters"? Source: "The Association for Mormon Letters started Irreantum in 1999. The name comes from a Book of Mormon term meaning 'many waters'" ([1])
    • ALT1:... that writers such as Anne Perry, Margaret Blair Young, and Dean Hughes have contributed to the literary journal Irreantum? Source: "Come Armageddon, Anne Perry ... The Bond of Love, Margaret Blair Young ... Artistry in a Missionary Story, Dean Hughes" ([2])
    • ALT2:... that the founders of the literary journal Irreantum sought to balance culturally conservative and liberal LDS literature in the publication? Source: "We are trying hard not to let Irreantum become pigeonholed as either culturally liberal or conservative..." (~19:04) ([3])
    • ALT3:... that the founders of the literary journal Irreantum hoped it would become the source for nationwide publishers to access the best of LDS literature? Source: "I want literary people to turn to Irreantum to get plugged in. I want New York agents to be thinking, 'Mormon stuff is starting to sell. Where can I find some good author leads and insights into that scene?' ([4])

  • I think Alt 3 sums it up the best. That said, it has been expanded sufficiently this week, no citation issues, no neutrality or copyright issues, and QPQ. Should be good to go. Trillfendi (talk) 16:45, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

2016 or 2018?

[edit]

.

The sidebar says Wm Morris picked up the editorship in 2016 but that Irreantum had a publication gap between 2013 and 2018. Is that correct? Thmazing (talk) 20:04, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
