37th or 38th

[edit]

There's no clear indication that the current government is set to dissolve. Rather, its possible Gantz, Sa'ar and Eizenkot will be appointed Ministers without Portfolio via government resolution. If that's the case, this page will have to be deleted and its contents merged into the 37th government's page. Totalstgamer (talk) 15:14, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Even if the 37th government is not dissolved, there is still enough coverage of the war cabinet to have it as a separate article. Chessrat (talk, contributions) 18:31, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The original comment was made when the article was named the thirty-eighth government and its scope was more poorly defined. It seems good now. Totalstgamer (talk) 21:10, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The Thirty-seventh government of Israel article still lists it as having ended on October 11, and succeeded by the War Cabinet, and this article still lists the 37th government as the predecessor. I agree with having a separate article, but if this isn't the 38th government, both articles should be edited to accurately reflect this. --1990'sguy (talk) 04:05, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I would add that the Thirteenth government of Israel page doesn't have a separate article for the period of time it was a unity government, and nor does it need a separate article. I suggest editing both articles ("War Cabinet" and "37th government") to be more in line with it. --1990'sguy (talk) 04:09, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This article is very inaccurate. The 37th gov will remain, with the addition of ministers without portfolio. The war cabinet won't be the government, but rather a subset of it. A3811 (talk) 06:25, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I propose we merge the article into Kitchen Cabinet of Israel and/or leave it as a paragraph in War Cabinet. A3811 (talk) 06:28, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I would support that, and/or just merge it into the 37th government article. --1990'sguy (talk) 13:20, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Disagree as I think an article on the specific cabinet setup during this war is useful, and it's got enough sources. Chessrat (talk, contributions) 13:40, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think that this article is fine as it is. We should at least mention the Israeli war cabinet on the Thirty-seventh government of Israel article (AFAICT, there is no such link in the body of that article). David O. Johnson (talk) 03:34, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Alright sounds good. Salandarianflag (talk) 07:38, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I agree. Salandarianflag (talk) 07:38, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Merger

[edit]

I am confused is the merger with Kitchen Cabinet of Israel or Thirty-seventh government of Israel? Braganza (talk) 17:20, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Aryeh Derhi

He is not a minister, he is a member of the knesset. 2A0D:6FC7:41F:2CB9:C06C:9606:4D07:74AF (talk) 10:34, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Article need to be updated, The Israeli war cabinet has been dissolved.

[edit]

With Gantz party leaving the coalition the war cabinet has been dissolved. Yuvalnato (talk) 21:43, 9 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As far as i'm aware there's no official announcement of this fact, and Gantz's resignation doesn't go into effect for at least a day or two. I say we wait and see what happens to the war cabinet. Totalstgamer (talk) 21:45, 9 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Soooo... They just dissolved the cabinet
