We should definitely find sources. Imo, we should create a table (and an article) for the alumni/alumna. I might do that sometime. DenizTC 00:50, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:IelEmblem1.jpg

[edit]

Image:IelEmblem1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Revision 195629160

[edit]

I removed three people from the list of Notable Alumni/Scientist. Having graduated in the same year, I know two of them personally. They are either PhD or master's degree students. While the question of whether being a graduate student is the same as being a scientist or not is up for debate, unless they have had significant contributions to their respective academic fields, they can hardly be considered a notable alumni and as such, don't have a place in the relevant section. Funding?

[edit]

Can someone add something about funding for this school? It's a public school but apparantly teachers are sent from Germany, too and paid for by the German government. It was in the news about Christmas teachings in December 2016, see e.g. https://www.welt.de/politik/ausland/article160431788/AKP-Abgeordneter-wirft-deutschen-Lehrern-Missionierung-vor.html EvMsmile (talk) 15:11, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
