Should this bit be changed?

[edit]

"Despite this, in 2017, he has been noted for his miserliness with regards to weekend worker penalty rates within Australia, regarding them as a "thing of the past". [1]" More specifically, "he has been noted for his miserliness". The referenced link has no mention of him being miserly or any kind of reference to this being negative. It would appear that this is a personal opinion and should probably be removed unless I'm missing something here. In reference to the claim itself, it stands to reason that if (as per article) the goal was to reduce youth unemployment, then it can hardly be considered 'miserly' to get rid of said penalty.98.200.176.128 (talk) 00:18, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for this. Corrected prose to include fact that he's advocated for the removal of penalty rates; removed it from area that relates to Cowin's net worth; and tightened prose to remove any perception of pejorative language (e.g. miserliness) that is not contained in the reference.
