Crystal Palace footballer, James Tomkins has been named on Reddit as the racist footballer who hurled N-word at a concierge as per the Sun's article

[edit]

The Sun Newspaper's article "'PREM RACIST' Prem star ‘called apartment block concierge the N-word twice during drunken rant’ sparking police probe" by Rachel Dale (30 Dec 2023) was picked up by multiple papers including the Mirror, GB News, Daily Mail, Daily Star, etc. A Reddit post who works at the residential development where the incident took place on 10 December 2023 has identified the racist premier league footballer as James Tomkins of Crystal Palace, who went on a drunk and racist rant and hurled the N-word at a temporary concierge. Could this be included in his article? 2A01:4B00:841C:400:DC99:8232:C26E:996A (talk) 23:34, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The Sun, The Mirror, The DM, the Daily Star and Reddit are all considered unreliable according to WP:RSPS and consensus. GB News (mind-blowingly...!) isn't so that could be used. The article isn't protected so feel free to add it yourself. Mattdaviesfsic (talk) 00:13, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
