Benchamoul

[edit]

I am the brother of Jean-Luc Brunel. As I said, the information about the name change is wrong. On the other hand maybe in the past a certain Ben Chemoul changed his name to Brunel, but he is not someone of my family. This Information has also been incorrectly taken over by BFMTV. Our family comes from Auvergne (France) for many generations; I would be happy to give you proof to this effect (family records, birth certificates etc). This erroneous information is unpleasant for our family. May I offer to speak to you in person or by e-mail ambrunel@icloud.com? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arnaud Brunel (talkcontribs) 16:13, 27 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Do we have a reliable source for "into a jewish family" and "Benchamoul"? I only found : https://twitter.com/hash_tigre/status/1233173925246275586/photo/1 --87.170.201.196 (talk) 16:39, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I work for the article in french. I found nothing except this 18/12/2020 : https://rmc.bfmtv.com/emission/epstein-accusations-de-viols-le-profil-trouble-de-jean-luc-brunel-patron-d-agence-de-mannequin-arrete-jeudi-2020367.html with the name "Ben Chemoul". The article doesn't quote any source. --Logret de Carlin (talk) 18:09, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
According to the following link, on 26 February 1962 he changed his name from Jean-Luc Benchamoul to Jean-Luc Brunel. I have heard talks that his family were sefarades from North Africa, and that they changed their names to avoid antisemitism, but I can't find any sources for this and also I'm not even certain that the link I quoted about his name is reliable either. Content and RMC source removed while this is under discussion. Is this a RS? Any other RS backing up the claim? Cedar777 (talk) 19:41, 27 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Grammar not good

[edit]

The grammar in this sentence is not good. Can it be fixed?

Many people believe that his ties to Epstein are in relation to his death, and there are several similar circumstances at the time of his reported hanging, including the security cameras not working.. 173.88.246.138 (talk) 17:24, 19 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Since none of that has been mentioned in any sources, the sentence has been removed. Wyliepedia @ 17:43, 19 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
