Jennifer Wu → Wu Yue (table tennis) – Per common name, the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) https://www.ittf.com/tag/wu-yue/ calls her Wu Yue. According to the article, "She was given the American name Jennifer,[3] but says she identifies more with her given name Yue.". The Eastern name order (Wu Yue) is preferred over the American name order (Yue Wu) for the following reasons:
- One, ITTF calls her Wu Yue https://www.ittf.com/tag/wu-yue/.
- Two, the back of her Team USA jersey reads "Wu Yue": https://ibb.co/HrJKh2m (MOS:IDENTITY)
- Three, most of the table tennis players playing for western countries use the Eastern name order: Canada's Zhang Mo (table tennis), German's Han Ying, Portugal's Fu Yu, Netherlands' Li Jie (table tennis), Poland's Li Qian (table tennis), Austria's Liu Jia, ... 67.149.246.163 (talk) 23:06, 18 October 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. - Oppose If she really did not want to use the name "Jennifer", she would have told people not to call her that, and that she should only be referred to by her Chinese name. As it is, she seems to be ambivalent about it, which to me does not seem like sufficient reason to remove it. And the interview where she says she "identifies more with it" was 4 years ago, she may have changed her opinion in the intervening time.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 19:03, 20 October 2019 (UTC)

Please don't use conjecture as facts. This picture is from this week: https://ibb.co/HrJKh2m (I screenshotted it from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eeVFGqyLTtg Notice how the announcer, who is American, also calls her Wu Yue. WP:COMMONNAME applies. - User:Zxcvbnm Also see her instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wuyuetabletennis/ facebook: https://www.facebook.com/WuYueTableTennis Nowhere do I see Jennifer
