Unofficial?

[edit]
The novel is the final book in the unofficial Little Women series of four books.

This book is by the same author as Little Women and Little Men isn't it? What is 'unofficial' about that? Ranze (talk) 02:20, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Gender studies

[edit]

I removed the "Additional Reading" section that focused on gender studies. While I think a reference to Jo's Boys might be of interest to a general article on gender studies, the reverse (featuring gender studies exclusively in a general article on Jo's Boys) seems more political than informational. This article should confine its scope to a more basic treatment of what the book is - unless somebody wants to do a more exhaustive treatment of the various ways, including gender studies, in which it impacts society. To do just the one type of analysis leans a little too far to an agenda, in my opinion. Ibinthinkin (talk) 7:04, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
