CACook7 made a copy&paste move of this page to John Calhoun Cook and turned it into a disambiguation page instead. There are several problems with this approach. Firstly, I am not convinced John Calhoun Cook is not the primary topic for this title. Secondly, even if he were not, we must move the page through WP:Requested moves so that the page history is moved along with the content - that's important for licensing reasons. Thirdly, such a move should have been discussed on the talk page. Huon (talk) 00:06, 5 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Reversing this disambig, which referred to the two John C. Cooks, was simply a move made in spite by editor Huon, and does not represent a factual view. Further Huon bothered to traced all my other edits today and duplicated John_Calhoun's bio there as well, an unknown number of times, again apparently out of spite. This issue is under appeal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CACook7 (talk • contribs) 00:46, 5 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I fail to see how the view that a congressman may be the primary topic isn't factual, let alone "we must move the page through WP:Requested moves so that the page history is moved along with the content - that's important for licensing reasons". See Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia for the latter. Please notify me of any discussions relevant to the appeal on my talk page. Huon (talk) 01:06, 5 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
