Printers
[edit]I know Juki as a printer company. I used one of their daisywheel Juki 6500 printers, secondhand, until I could no longer obtain ribbons. So a paragraph on their printers, and research into other product lines, would be useful. REH11 (talk) 03:24, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
- I came here to ask about this -- is this definitely the same company that made daisywheel printers back in the '80s?--NapoliRoma (talk) 06:36, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
- Copyright note in the Juki 6100 manual is for "Tokyo Juki Industrial Co Ltd, Tokyo, Japan".
- This matches on the list of names given the the sewing machine company's corporate history:
- Address label further along, says:
- 23-3, Kabuki-cho 1-chome, shinjuku-ku,
- Tokyo 160, Japan
- Cable: JUKI TOKYO
- Telex: J22967, 232-2301
- Phone: 03 (205) 1118, 1189, 1190
- The logos look very similar.
- There's no specific online reference though. Their technological expertise is in the same area.
- Perhaps, for marketing purposes, they deliberately omitted their 1980s detour into printing. REH11 (talk) 23:27, 25 October 2017 (UTC)
