Different Photo?[edit]

I suggest someone post a different picture of King Boo. The one currently in the article shows spoilers for Luigi's Mansion. --Eratticus 22:35, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

Too much gameplay information[edit]

I noticed that some users have been putting a lot of info on specifically how to fight King Boo in his various incarnations. I re-wrote that, because I feel that such in-depth info belongs more in FAQs and game guides rather than an encyclopedia site. A few sentences should suffice. Also, I feel like my edit puts the profile more in line with others for such video game characters. Hope I wasn't stepping on anybody's toes when I did this. There is a part that says that King Boo revived Bowser from the dead, but Bowser never died, the bowser that was fought in Luigi's Mansion is not the real Bowser...

Actually it may be the real Bowser. It's never been stated any where is was or wasn't.

Wrong Info[edit]

There is a part that says that King Boo revived Bowser from the dead, but Bowser never died, the bowser that was fought in Luigi's Mansion is not the real Bowser...

In fact it was, you are just wrong

How can people say Bowser's body is used by King Boo in Luigi's Mansion? Especially since the screenshot of Bowser's "body" on the article looks totally fake. Unless you people think Mario is brutal enough to decapitate bowser.--Superbub

No, Luigi did the Decapitating, he blew his head off with a mine remember? And you can tell it's Bowser's body by what Madame Clairvoyer says. Is it not obvious?

Well, let's examine the evidence. The split between Bowser's head and neck is clean, and there is simply a black hole where his internal organs should be. King Boo inhabiting a corpse is just plain icky, and you would expect him to have decomposed by now. The Bowser of this game shows powers Bowser never had, like conjuring mines from thin air. Bowser's head floats around after Luigi shoots the mine at him, and spits ice. Huh? Bowser could never spit ice. All of this point to either Luigi's Mansion being after all the other games in which Bowser appears, and Bowser being dead, or it not being the real Bowser, just a suit which King Boo fights Luigi in for defence against the Poltergust 3000. And Clairvoya isn't the most reliable of sources, she's even kind of unsure about her conclusions. "Could King Boo somehow have revived Bowser?" I think the Bowser shown in Luigi's Mansion was a fake. Just my two cents. --Agent_Koopa 18:48, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This argument has no conclusion and I think that the argument should be pointed out on the pages, but without Bias, an element which is repeatedly added

Information[edit]

It is cut because he is a minor boss in all but one game. Nothing special can be said about him otherwise. The same thing was done with Petey before his merger (which you seem to have accepted after only one explanation). TTN 17:08, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think people would still like to know all the moves he does in each game. Angry Sun 17:15, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That is called game guide material. TTN 17:16, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
And don't take PoD reverting it as someone being on your side. He just has a bizarre grudge against me (for what reason, I can't even remember). TTN 17:18, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't even know he did it to tell you the truth... Angry Sun 17:24, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What it your current stance on this? Also, remember that this is only in existence because I didn't cut it before merging. The guy who recently redirected them decided to base it purely on content instead of encyclopedic worth. TTN 17:27, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm...That's something to think about. Perhaps remove all the moves and just add a game list.

I also believe this should stay on the fact that he is a Major/Minor Boss. Angry Sun 17:36, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He only needs two paragraphs like Petey does. Besides Luigi's Mansion, none of the games need more than a mention, which is done in my list version. If you're being tolerant of Petey's merger, please just let this one go. This is not the place for over described information (again that is Wikia). TTN 17:40, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think you understand, TTN, I have started discussions about the unmerging of articles with policy to back them up and no consensus, just like these recent merges of yours, and they have been unmerged. Other users accept this fact and so you should be no different. I am now kindly asking you to back down or I may get a little annoyed. I don't want to though. Please present any valid reasons you may have for merging these articles here. For now, I will start a help desk and/or AN discussion about this. Henchman 2000 08:11, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Kingboo.jpg[edit]

Image:Kingboo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 21:53, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
