Could some one write a paragraph or section describing the prosecution evidence? The article tells us the prosecution's theory, but not the actual evidence that was used to convict.
Also, the article alludes to exculpatory evidence that has allegedly emerged since, but is sparse on detail and doesn't indicate how much was extant at the time of the trial and who knew of it. Did the Court block such evidence? Did the prosecution object? Did the defense fail to present it? Was it concealed by the prosecution? Was it unknown to any of the parties until later?
Also, did the two state governors give their reasons for rejecting the appeals for clemency?
