[edit]Note there does not appear to have been British Empire Exhibition of 1898; there was an Empire of India Exhibition in 1895, however. I haven't changed the ref as this would be OR I guess. I would add this as a footnote but I'm not sure how. Roisterdoister (talk) 14:46, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- You're right I can't find a British Empire Exhibition of 1898 either (List of world's fairs). The Empire of India Exhibition in 1895 was the first of various annual themed exhibitions at the Earl's Court Exhibition Grounds [1], and in 1898 the exhibition seems to have been something called the "International Universal Exhibition". It's hard to say what the Telegraph article being used as a reference [2] is referring to. Pasicles (talk) 12:40, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
- (Much later) ... I removed the sentence about the origin of the Indian buildings as it's not mentioned in the Historic England listing. --Wire723 (talk) 17:29, 3 August 2020 (UTC)

The link to the Larmer Tree website underneath the references section is a broken link and showing as a dead link. The correct URL is: http://www.larmertree.co.uk/

- The current link works for me, is not dead. --82.136.210.153 (talk) 13:19, 15 October 2014 (UTC)
