World Series

[edit]

Boyd spent most of his youth in White Rock, and as a 14-year-old played for a program called Northern Thunder that captured a recognized World Series title in Ohio. Need to reference this and find out which World Series it's talking about. He was 14, so this should be in either 1998. —Preceding unsigned comment added by J2summers (talkcontribs) 14:36, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I played against (and was struck out repeatedly by) Boyd when he played for the Northern Thunder. I can't find a citation for his time with them, unfortunately. I did manage to find this article[1] referring to the Thunder's championship, however. walkie (talk) 02:33, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently refs don't work on talk pages. Leaving the ref in so it can be copy-pasted into the article, if needed. Here's a direct link to an archived version of the article. walkie (talk) 02:36, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
