Travelling with heavy water

My father asserts that Lew crossed the channel in a fisherman's boat with the heavy water concealed in a baby's cot. Furthermore, he met a lady who said she was the baby. Has anyone heard this?Donebythesecondlaw (talk) 21:58, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually it was transported out of France to England by the SS Broompark by a party led by Charles Howard, 20th Earl of Suffolk. Image of ship here: [1]
