Is Li Wenxian real?[edit]

The first mention I can find of Li Wenxian is from Michael Newton's book "Still at large: a casebook of 20th century serial killers who eluded justice." In the book, Which was published in 1999 (3 years after Li Wenxian was allegedly executed). In that book, the case is treated like it's unsolved, with no mention of Li Wexian's name.

Then, In Michael Newton's book "The Encyclopedia of serial killers (Published in 2000)," the case is treated as if it's solved.

Then, the case is again featured in his book "The Encyclopedia of unsolved crimes." which was published in 2009.

Li Wenxian just seems like it was a hoax created by Michael Newton. He changes the details about the case in each of his books. It goes from being unsolved, to solved, and then back to unsolved. Silent-Rains (talk) 08:18, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
