Merge with All-Ireland?

[edit]

Speaks for itself; would seem to make sense. Cripipper 12:58, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

But what you have proposed is a merger with the 2006 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship article: a historical record of one year's event. Kevin McE 19:05, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If this article were about the actual trophy then it would make sense, but right now it would be better merged with the AI. --Eamonnca1 02:11, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Who is Liam McCarthy?

[edit]

A bio please. 194.125.42.18 17:09, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

M(a)cCarthy

[edit]

Apologies if this is a silly question, but given that the first line of this article states that it is "MacCarthy (often misspelt McCarthy)", why is this at McCarthy? Or is the MacCarthy of the cup's official title not the same as the McCarthy of its more common title? Liam MacCarthy is spelt as such (with the "a") further through the article. Some explanation is needed, surely... Grutness...wha? 10:01, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I think this video of the cup itself should settle the matter. I moved the article to Liam MacCarthy Cup. wbm1058 (talk) 19:57, 13 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
