Article title "Lima Cathedral"

[edit]

The most common search name is Lima Cathedral, but not Basilica Cathedral of Lima, even so it is found on wikis in other languages such as Wikipedia in Spanish or Wikipedia in Portuguese. The transfer had already been done but it was undone twice and it is requested that it be discussed first. In any case, if someone has any objection regarding the transfer of the article, please leave it here, otherwise and if there are no objections in the next few days, it would be advisable to transfer the article to the one with the title Lima Cathedral. Just for reference, the move being discussed is from this page to Lima Cathedral, currently a redirect to this page. Lithopsian (talk) 15:24, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I am neutral on the name change itself. However, opening a plain discussion here may not be the best approach: it isn't the recommended way to discuss a page move; it isn't a highly-watched page and a discussion without the appropriate templates may not attract much attention; at the end of it all, you still won't be able to rename the page because the intended target has non-trivial history and the move command will fail (unless you secretly harbour special privileges), whereas a formal discussion will (usually) be closed by an admin and any agreed moves will be made by them.
