75kg bodyweight category mix-up (1998–2016)[edit]

The template for Olympic competitions in the 75kg bodyweight category has it named as heavyweight, which matches the archive of Olympic results listed on the Sports Reference website (though the latter does not account for all medal reallocations after the recent retests).

Furthermore, a previous iteration of this article (before +75kg was split into 90kg & +90kg) follows the same script. Those who competed as heavyweights between 1998 and 2016 cannot retrospectively be labelled as middle-heavyweights for that period, so I will move the corresponding medallists back where they were previously. The IWF doesn't use any name for the weight classes. so there is no official name, then I think it's better to keep those weight classes close to each other. doesn't make sense to have 75kg and 90kg in the same table. I will move it back. btw the whole discussion is senseless here because IWF is going to change the weight classes in one or two months and they may change the whole weight classes. OK I just changed my mind, I reverted my edit back. as I said the whole discussion is senseless since we will have new weight classes soon. Mohsen1248 (talk) 15:56, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
