From the JVL:

Hadassah engaged in a broad range of activities: sanitary and anti-malaria work, programs against tuberculosis and trachoma, the operation of 6 hospitals (two in Jerusalem and one in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Safed and Tiberias)

Indicates that there was an Hadassah in Safed. Opening a map will show that it still exists now. Please don't remove it again. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 08:30, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yitzhak Shamir / Assaf Harofeh

[edit]

Apparently the name was officially changed in April, 2017. Most people are unaware of the new name, 5 months later, and still use the old name. In fact, as of today, the hospital's own website (in Hebrew) still calls itself "Assaf Harofeh." To reduce confusion, I recommend leaving the old name up as well, as I have just boldly done. --Eliyahu S Talk 08:21, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yitzhak Shamir is in Tzrifin, not Be'er Yaakov. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:ED0:53D5:A00:9089:D61A:E38E:4CFB (talk) 08:58, 23 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Separating general hospitals

[edit]

I think it would be much more helpful to categorize the list by the type of hospital, i.e. general, geriatric, rehabilitation, etc. For general hospitals especially, it would be useful to list beds, staff, etc. —Ynhockey (Talk) 21:40, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
