Proposal: Change title to "List of Official State Visits with Kim Jong-Un
[edit]By virtue of the fact that not all trips are "overseas", there could be domestic trips where Xi Jinping is confirmed to meet in Pyongyang (date undecided), or Moon visit to Pyongyang (date undecided) or a potential Trump visit to Pyongyang, it would not classify as part of "official trip made by Kim" since it's a domestic affair, and foreign leaders are visiting North Korea. By changing it to "State Visits with Kim Jong Un", this will encapsulate both domestic and overseass state visits, not just trips abroad. Rwat128 (talk) 22:45, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose. These are totally different things, apples and oranges, and it would be confusing to cram the two into a single article. If you think that WP:LISTN is met, you can start List of state visits to North Korea or List of diplomatic visits to North Korea instead. – Finnusertop (talk ⋅ contribs) 20:10, 19 June 2018 (UTC)
Proposal: Move page to "List of international trips made by Kim Jong-un"
[edit]In the last few months, Kim Jong-un has visited multiple countries, but his meetings with Xi Jinping in China weren't considered "official" (See "Kim–Xi meetings"), so should we move the page from "List of official trips made by Kim Jong-un" to "List of international trips made by Kim Jong-un" (See "List of international presidential trips made by Donald Trump", "List of international presidential trips made by Vladimir Putin", "List of international presidential trips made by Emmanuel Macron")? —Wei4Green (talk) 18:54, 19 June 2018 (UTC)
- Or maybe "List of international presidential trips made by Kim Jong-un" since Kim Jong-un been to Switzerland for education? —Wei4Green (talk) 01:53, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
- Kim is not the President, so he makes no presidential trips. Besides, the title does not have to prescribe the list's inclusion criteria to the letter. A well-written lead is far better for that purpose. – Finnusertop (talk ⋅ contribs) 10:14, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- Then how do we refer to his trips since his trips are since he took power in 2011? —Wei4Green (talk) 13:47, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- "Since 2011" or "As leader of North Korea". – Finnusertop (talk ⋅ contribs) 14:01, 21 June 2018 (UTC)

Lack of Photos for all China Trips
[edit]Where can we find photos for the First, second, and Third trips? There seems to be a pro-Western bias towards SK and US in this article. Need for neutrality.Rwat128 (talk) 01:25, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
Possible trip to Washington, D.C.
[edit]Assuming that Trump assumes office as president again in 2025, it is possible that Kim makes that trip at some point.37.136.84.143 (talk) 17:09, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
