David and Samuel Skywalker ??

And "Darth Goil"? I'm not a super-expert on the extended universe, but it sounds like bogus written by a 9-year-old to me... Could somebody confirm/infirm and edit accordingly?

Rogue Squadron Characters

I am considering adding some characters that primarily come from the Rogue Squadron series of novels. Do you think they should be added here, on the Rebel characters page, or perhaps on a new page devoted to Rogue Squadron characters? --Mipadi 15:28, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

They should be fine right here. --maru 20:17, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll do that, then. --Mipadi 16:59, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Although if they were pre-New Republic, then they should probably go in the Rebel character page. --maru 19:18, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)
They seem to not necessarily be "Rebel" characters, so I'll put them on this page. --Mipadi 20:44, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Selection

"Ghent is a fictional character" As opposed to the other characters being real? And this seems to be a rather random collection of characters chosen from the extended 'Star Wars universe' that you happen to like.

It is a bit random, please add more characters as you see fit. --Lochaber 19:40, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Carth Onasi

Should Carth Onasi really be on this list? I would think he should have his own article, as he's among the major characters in KotOR I and also appears in KotOR II. --Sholtar 20:51, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Mandalorian Move

Moved Jaster Mereel's entry to List of Mandalorians.--Kross 13:26, Jun 10, 2005 (UTC)

Clone Commanders

Due to a load of new information on clone commanders released on the Star Wars website, all the clone commanders were removed from this list and put into a list of clone commanders. Sahriar 6 July 2005 06:19 (UTC)

Ben Skywalker

Just being Luke's son should merit him his own entry. Also, if he plays such an important role in the new books (he could duke it out with the new Sith Lord don't you think?) he should have his own entry. He is definetely not a minor character. -Victor Acosta-

I really think that this kid should have his own page. After all, he is beginning to play a major role in the Expanded Universe, especially in the latest Dark Nest Trilogy. (Note that his cousins Jaina, Jacen and Anakin Solo have already gotten their own pages.) What do you all have to say before a decision can be made? - Jill Tan 29 September 2005, 12:19 (UTC)

Ben plays a major role in The Legacy of the Force series and should have his own page. There are alot of facts that is missing from his page just check Wookiepedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.113.169.47 (talkcontribs) 18:59, 8 June 2006

I agree. He's turning out to be a major star wars character and it would be unfair not to let him have his own page.-SSJ Gokan 00:48, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

He's a really major character especially in the Legacy of the Force series. Why is he on a minor characters list? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 154.20.151.129 (talkcontribs) 23:07, 1 June 2007

I totally agree. He is a super-major character, so why is he just on a list with 1000 other people? Everyone from the Skywalker/Solo families should have their own page. Ben is the only member without one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.224.44.0 (talkcontribs) 01:28, 12 June 2007

I agree as well, he's done enough to be granted his own page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lordmagnusen (talkcontribs) 02:44, 15 June 2007

I agree. Ben is definitely a major character now and deserves his own page. Arwen Undomiel talk 15:55, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

I agree. He's become a major character and everything is set up in the story so that he is pivotal, and he deserves his own page. Revrant 16:11, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Ben is unarguably heading to a pivotal position. He may not need one now, but just wait.... He needs a page no doubt he is the son of Luke Skywalker —Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.83.134.235 (talkcontribs) 14:38, 22 June 2007 He deverses it after his adventure on zioist and sabotageing centerpoint give the kid a page.GIVE BEN A PAGE GIVE BEN A PAGW GIVE BEN A PAGE GIVE BEN A PAGE GIVE BEN A PAGE GIVE BEN A PAGE !!!!!!!Give him one pleasesomebody who cares about star wars make it He should get his own page

Ben has become a major character is the Legacy series. He is the son of Luke Skywalker. That alone should be enough of a reason to give him his own page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.69.224.78 (talkcontribs) 00:49, 1 July 2007

Ben Skywalker has been a major character in Legacy of the Force. He should have his own page as his information in the minor character section will become very large.

Note to anyone intending on splitting off a section

This page has been processed by N-Bot, which, for browsing convenience, changes links to redirects to lists to links to the relevant list sections: e.g. [[Salla Zend]] is changed to [[List of minor Star Wars characters#Zend, Salla|Salla Zend]].

As a result, anyone who intends to split a section out of this page should be aware that, as of 6 August 2005, the following sections were linked to from the following pages:

Droopy McCool

I'm not an EU expert just a fan of the originals, but is Droopy McCool really a character? This sounds fake to me... --Anon.

Hard to believe, but he is legit. --Maru (talk) 23:41, 20 October 2005 (UTC)

Droopy McCool was in ROTJ

I'm proposing to merge two articles into this one...

The characters: King Terak and Teek from the Ewok films are certainly not large enough characters to have their own page, so I'm suggesting (I put up the merge notices on the respective pages) that they be merged into this one. The Wookieepedian 10:04, 21 October 2005 (UTC)

Move article

I think it would be appropriate to move Pash Cracken's biography out to be moved to the more relevant article: List of minor Rebel characters in Star Wars

Handmaidens

I am considering moving the handmaidens from this article and List of Star Wars Old Republic characters to a new List of Star Wars handmaidens. There is a sufficiently high number of them to warrant a new list, IMO. --BinaryTed 17:17, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

This article needs TONS of rewriting

All of the article talks about SW universe characters as if they were real people! Please, please, read WP:WAF before adding content to this article, or if you wish to improve it. It needs a lot of rewriting.

I've seen mentioned in this talk page some Wookiepedia. Maybe that would be where this content belongs, at its present state.

For more involved editors, I've seen there's a Wikipedia:WikiProject Star Wars which tries to direct and organize all the effort these articles need. --euyyn 21:17, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Boss Nass

Someone put the merge to tag on Boss Nass, so I guess it might as well be discussed. I support it, as he has a smaller role in the movies than many characters already on this list. Counterfit 06:21, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

Important Point

This article seems to be overlooking Star Treks unquestionable superiority. I move that this is mentioned somewhere in the article to meet Wikipedias Quality Standards.

Wikipedia quality standards require that articles not be dragged into lame fanboy arguments by lame fanboys. Ubersuntzu (talk) 19:08, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

List of minor residents of Tatooine merger

List of minor residents of Tatooine was proposed for deletion. I replaced the prod tag with a merge tag in case there is any content worth merging here. I think that people more knowledgeable about the subject than I am should make the decision of what to merge. If a discussion comes to the conclusion that nothing can be merged, then you can either put a new prod tag on or take the article to AfD. Do not forget that List of minor residents of Tatooine must be redirected here if any content is merged in order to preserve author attribution in the page's history. -- Kjkolb 00:37, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Jawa17.jpg

Image:Jawa17.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Where did Plo Koon go?

An important jedi master, lifetime member of the jedi council, killed following Order 66. He has had his own article before, but now it seems to redirect here... but there is no mention of him in this article! The Star Wars wiki has granted him a quite extensive article. I feel he should at the VERY LEAST be mentioned on Wikipedia. --Ifrit (talk) 01:55, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Went ahead and did it myself.--Ifrit (talk) 01:08, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

I TOTALLY THINK HE DESERVES HIS OWN PAGE!!! Plo Koon is probably the coolist Jedi EVER!!! We should give him his own page, he deserves it.

He was a lifetime member of the Jedi Council. If Ki Adi Mundi got his own page Plo Koon should, too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.6.223.122 (talk) 05:29, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Order?

Is there any rhyme or reason to the way the sections are ordered...is the top alphabetical section made up of characters more important than the lower section? Is this explained somewhere, or can it be? Sorry if I'm missing something... Keepscases (talk) 19:53, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
