Future Toronto FC Academy Team in USL Pro moved to Semi-Pro Section.[edit]

The future Toronto FC academy team in the USL Pro been moved to the Semi-Pro section. This is due to it's standing as a Division 3 League in the Canadian Soccer Pyramid which is classified as Semi-Pro by Canadian Soccer Association. [1] [2] In addition as a Division 3 club it would be ineligible to compete the Canadian Championship and the Voyageurs Cup which is reserved for the three professional teams in Canada competing in the Division One Major League Soccer and two competing in the Division two North American Soccer League.
