Page name[edit]

Is there a reason why this page is not titled "List of terrorist attacks, January–June 2014"? The "incidents" are referred to attacks throughout the article. Shouldn't we maintain consistency and include "attacks" in the page name? Meatsgains (talk) 04:17, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Assasination and execution are not "attacks".--Bolter21 (talk to me) 06:44, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
From the lead: "This is a timeline of terrorist incidents which took place in the first half of 2014, including attacks by violent non-state actors for political or unknown motives." Why is the lead using the term attacks then? Meatsgains (talk) 16:56, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Firstly, I don't know why the lead is using this, I am guessing this lead section exists for few years.
Sedondly: "This is a timeline of terrorist incidents which took place in the first half of 2014, including attacks by violent non-state actors for political or unknown motives."--Bolter21 (talk to me) 17:05, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Incidents includes plots which didn't go ahead, such as the 2006 transatlantic aircraft plot - which is included in List of terrorist incidents in 2006. Jim Michael (talk) 16:23, 22 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Vienna hand grenade car explosion: actually terrorism?[edit]

The january 11th assassination of the Vienna town councillor has not been linked to any kind of terrorism by any reliable source so far. More specifically, the following article reports the findings of the police investigation, and describes the murder as money-motivated: [1]. I think we should remove that event from this list. -- 79.45.32.172 (talk) 12:24, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
