Michael Mcintyre's Comedy Roadshow

[edit]

Now that this is called Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow (starting tonight) do we move this article to that, seperate them or continue as I have with MMCR as Series 5 > onwards?

I was never aware that the above was a continuation of Live at the Apollo, for a few reasons - Firstly, it's not at the Apollo, secondly, it's not live, and thirdly, it has a different format, with 3 relatively unknown people performing instead of just 1 or occasionaly two.

I'm sure it shares links with Live at the Apollo, yet these links are so thin that surely the Roadshow desrves it's own article, therefore changing some of the formatting on this article too.

Of course, there could just be a small 'Main Article' section at the bottom page, for a main Roadshow article.

I agree, if anything the comedy roadshow is a spin-off of live at the apollo. Until there is actually evidence to suggest Live at the Apollo has been completely replaced by this, then a new article is needed. Freddie McPhyll (talk) 11:35, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you that the new article was warranted, however it is clear that Comedy Roadshow was a derivative of this as the set design is practically the same. Also, Comedy Roadshow is just as live as this show is. Neither are broadcast live. TomBeasley (talk) 20:53, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Help please!

[edit]

There was a black woman comedienne who appeared on this series this year but she is not listed here. And, no, she wasn't Gina Yashere nor Andi Osho. I could have sworn that her name was Alva somebody but the love of Mike I can't find her anywhere on the net. I have been searching under 'black woman comedian British' and etc for half an hour. She was very funny and made joke about her children. But what is her name??? This is driving me mad! She also appeared as a guest on The News Quiz but I can't find her name either. Can someone help me please??? Thanks in advance.

As you were my lovely fellow editors : Ava Vidal I am merely slightly dyslexic not imagining non-existent comedian. For some reason some wacky part of my brain is confusing the name with Alvar Lidell and two more different people could hardly exist.
