Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (Now why the hell would want to take a my article Down why??!! I disagree on speedy deletion I think it should stay got a problem? Leave me a message!) --Larryeedwards (talk) 16:53, 24 May 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Larry. The article was nominated for deletion by another editor on the grounds of notability. Please don't take it personally. If you have a read of WP:COMPANY you can get a better idea of the guidelines on what makes any company notable enough for its own article on Wikipedia. I've removed the speedy deletion tag for now, as the article does make a credible assertion of notability, but its notability according to the guidelines I linked to above is pretty weak: they released one game in 2009, then went bankrupt the following year. Searching online for the company I can find very little about it apart from press releases and fan blog posts, neither of which is considered a WP:Reliable source on Wikipedia. for verifying notability. If we can't find better evidence of notability for the company then it will probably get listed for a deletion discussion. One alternative might be to merge the referenced content to PopCap Games, as it seems to be at least worth mentioning it there. Thanks, OnionRing (talk) 21:00, 24 May 2016 (UTC)
