Rel'nship betw Vydra & Vyntra

[edit]

I'm redoing a link from the Dab page Vydra, to the accompanying bio, as a "See also" entry. The problem is that several editors on non-en WPs have, without providing reliable sources, asserted that the person of the topic, a Czech by place of birth, perhaps also Greek by birth since his mother was/is Greek -- who is most widely known by the surname Vyntra which he currently uses (presumably reflecting upbringing & perhaps predominant residence in Greece) -- was in fact born under the surname Vydra. I believe them, but we lack a reliable source, and even if there are reliable non-English-language sources, it doesn't appear that other-language WPs i've checked, that assert it, e.g. de:Loukas_Vyntra, even offer any source at all.
By the way, research using machine translations is complicated by the fact that in Czech Vydra means Otter (see the respective interlanguage links on the two pages) and gets translated accordingly, despite its context as a surname; i gave up at least for now trying to sort it out, but i suspected that there's an at least amusing story around that -- maybe something like as a semi-bilingual kid he couldn't pronounce both versions of the surname?
