Info box

[edit]

The subject is a royal by accurate definition. Please leave the info box as it is unless you have some argument against the belief that the subject was not royal and does not need the use of the royal infobox.--Mark Miller (talk) 21:51, 25 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've changed it back. Her royal descent is disputed since the title princess is only an honorific commonly used by people to refer to her royal descent and is not an official title. Infobox person can be used for royals too; I've seen a few cases, although none come to mind right now. Jonah Kuhio's article doesn't use infobox royal even though he was an official prince of the Kalakaua dynasty nor does her mother's because they were better known for their political careers than their roles as royals. The royal infobox is only used when you want to show titles and ruling dates and when the person in question is actually a royal. Using infobox person stays neutral on the issue and shortens the space the infobox take in this article. It is also being used in all the articles of Hawaiian royals born post-1893 including all her other Kawananakoa relations. If you disagree, revert if you must.--KAVEBEAR (talk) 08:05, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I won't revert, but I do question disputing the use of an infobox for royal on all articles or subjects born after 1893.--Mark Miller (talk) 08:36, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
