How is it known that Hirokazu Ando composed Mach Rider? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Doommaster1994 (talkcontribs) 04:07, 25 October 2012 (UTC)

Mach Rider's Gender[edit]

This article should probably be more ambiguous with gender in regard to the protagonist, to reflect the ambiguity sounding Mach Rider.

There seems to be a pretty good case that Mach Rider is intended to be a girl. Considering the woman who appears beside the 'Mach Rider' bike in VS Mach Rider for the arcade, the implication being that this is actually the Mach Rider undressed - in the same vein as Metroid's Samus. Furthermore they were made by the same internal Nintendo development team, so they have a established trend of surprising female protagonists, and also called Samus a male multiple times in Metroid's game manual. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 16:28, 24 February 2018 (UTC)
