I'm an online ambassador for your WMST 250: Women, Art, and Culture (2014 Q3) class and have just stopped by to provide a quick review and add what I hope will be helpful comments.

You've done a nice job on this article. It's well-organized, well-written, and content is cited. You've provided background and career information.

The only real issue that I see is that the biography from the subject's website is used as a citation in several places. It is not considered a reliable source because it is a primary source of a living person. If you could find another source, that would be good. One option is this site, which also has an image that you may want to use as a fair use image.

It would be nice to see the list of collections sorted in some fashion, alphabetically, etc. That's not a big deal, though.

The article was tagged for speedy deletion by KTo288 due to a copyright violation - which is definitely a Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion of an article.

I am not finding a copyright violation for the link that was given in the CSD template, but I will check the article more closely.

In general, it is not wise to use an artist's website as a source of content for an article, which I think may be part of the issue. There may be lists or other info on the artist's website that would show up in the duplication detector report, so I will check for that.
This is an article for an educational program, which is monitored by 2 online ambassadors and an instructor.

No what you said was that copyvio was a reason for deletion, but that you didn't believe that this was a case of a copy violation. Aadedoyi The content of this article has been removed because it is a copyright violation - some of it from the artist's website and some from this site. As KTo288 stated, content cannot be directly copied from a source into this article. And, attributing it to another source does not solve the issue. Both the CLARA site and the artist's website are copyright protected. Copied text is a copyright violation, which is a serious legal concern.

Please see the related close paraphrasing article about how to ensure that when you're paraphrasing the content is not similar enough to be a copyright violation.

Right now, it's fine to leave this page as a stub. The article was tagged as an "orphan" which means there aren't many articles that link to this article. See WhatLinksHere. You could also add cited content and a link in her father's article: Sazō Idemitsu - and articles relevant to experimental film and video or other articles relevant to her career. Writing with clarity

I found your article very interesting and a thorough representation of Make Idemitsu's life. You were also able to bring in a lot of the topics that we learned in class. Most of my edits were simply shortening sentences or replacing pronouns with proper nouns to make the whole thing clearer. I did find one issue that I was uncertain if it needed fixing or how to fix it. Under Work in the section titled 'influences of technology' it said that she switched to video. I am unclear whether that meant switching from Super 8 film or simply when she began working with film If she did switch from another form be sure to explain the differences.
