Price is Right
[edit]I removed the following sentence from the article:
- It is also widely rumored, via several game show messageboards, that he may succeed Bob Barker of "The Price is Right."
I know that Marc has expressed his desire to host Price, and folks have talked about that --- I even would personally make Summers my #1 pick for the job --- but none of this amounts to even a rumor that it will happen. If someone has citations, feel free to add them and replace the sentence. SFT | Talk 08:11, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
Subjects to delete
[edit]I have it on good authority with a good friend of Marc's that part of the paragraph mentioning 'short list' of Price hosts is erroneous. Lodge, Davidson, and Fields are not on the short list. Also, heads up that the 'Happy Birthdays' reference may need to go; this was news to both my friend and to Marc, there's no such band in existence. CKTN oh WELL ANY WAYS RUSS IS A GEEK.
Proposal: I can't find much info about the feud Summer had with Tom Selleck on the Tonite Show--I think there is a clip on YouTube somewhere, but it might make an interesting addition to the page if someone really knows how to write it well. 24.15.73.130 07:38, 25 December 2006 (UTC)michael
But it wasn't with Tom Selleck, it was with Burt Reynolds. FamicomJL 01:55, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
Summers dead?
[edit]I couldn't find any information about Marc Summers being killed by a steam roller in his driveway yesterday (May 3), so I deleted that information from this article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.130.241.41 (talk) 16:50, 4 May 2007 (UTC).
- It was vandalism, don't worry. :) FamicomJL 18:28, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Unwrappedintro.jpg
[edit]Image:Unwrappedintro.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Use of Ironic?
[edit]http://dragreduction.blogspot.com/2005/11/irony-vs-coincidence.html
Is it correctly used in this article? (129.59.103.193 (talk) 01:17, 5 December 2008 (UTC))
- Yes. As someone who has OCD, it would be expected that Marc would gravitate to a job where his obsession with cleanliness was beneficial, or at least not a major handicap. Instead, the exact opposite occurred, thus the irony. Matt Deres (talk) 14:37, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
Where's Marc?
[edit]He haven't been appear on Food Network since the recent episode of Unwrapped. is the show on hiatus? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.28.93.134 (talk) 20:05, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?
[edit]I watched an episode of Carmen Sandiego on www.Veoh.com and there is an episode where he makes a guest appearence for the first 5 or so minutes of the show. --Bkopicz3 (talk) 00:35, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
Alien
[edit]Got some crazy vandalism going on here. Page has an extensive, if somewhat humorous, biography of Summers relating his alien genealogy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.6.49.102 (talk) 02:59, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
His Real Name vs Summers
[edit]I think it would be good to show how he got the name Summers versus his actual name. Anyone have info to add about this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.204.235.253 (talk) 21:07, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
